1. The service and your account

Disto turns a recording, optionally guided by an accessible Instagram reference, into an AI-edited vertical video. You must be at least 18 and authorized to enter into this agreement. Keep your sign-in links and API keys private. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and connected agents.

2. What an edit includes

Each job uses one credit. Inputs must be MP4, MOV or WebM, no larger than 50 MB and no longer than ten minutes. The current export is a vertical 1080×1920 MP4. Only public, accessible Instagram references are supported. Jobs run in the background; processing time varies. A failed job returns its credit automatically. One edit can run at a time per account, and the service has limited shared capacity.

A reference provides creative direction, not a promise of an identical result. Disto cannot guarantee every effect, correct transcription, third-party media availability, or suitability for your intended publication. Review the result before use. These limits do not remove your statutory rights when a service is defective or not supplied as agreed.

3. Credits and payment

Credit packs are one-time purchases, not subscriptions. The pack quantity, currency and total payable are shown before payment in Stripe Checkout. Sandbox checkouts are tests and take no real money. Credits are not money and cannot be transferred between accounts. Disto does not currently impose a scheduled credit-expiry date.

Editing starts when you submit a job using available credits. Read the refund and cancellation policy before purchasing. We do not treat simply using the site as a waiver of your statutory cancellation rights.

4. Your content and rights

You retain your rights in your recordings. You give us the permission needed to store, transmit and process your content to provide the requested service and support. You are responsible for having rights to the footage, audio, people depicted and references you supply. A public Instagram post is not a copyright licence. Do not ask Disto to reproduce protected assets without permission.

You may use outputs to the extent permitted by your underlying rights and applicable law. AI outputs may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection. We do not claim ownership of your original recordings.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Disto for unlawful content, non-consensual intimate imagery, exploitation, fraud, deceptive impersonation, or violations of another person’s privacy or intellectual-property rights. Do not probe other accounts, attempt to retrieve secrets, bypass quotas, interfere with the service, or use editing instructions to execute unrelated workloads. We may restrict harmful activity and explain the reason where doing so would not undermine security or violate law.

6. Privacy and account closure

Our privacy policy explains data processing and service providers. Request an export or account deletion through support. Download your results before closing the account. Account closure and any refund are handled separately; required payment and legal records may be retained.

7. Problems, changes and responsibility

Tell us about a missing, faulty or unsatisfactory edit with its edit ID. We will investigate and discuss an appropriate remedy. We may improve or change the service, but changes do not retroactively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. We cannot promise uninterrupted access to our own or third-party systems.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer protections. Dutch law applies, subject to any mandatory protections you have in your country of residence. This does not require a consumer to use a court that deprives them of their statutory rights.
